Little Women...

Hiya, this review is about a book called Little women (well duh)

It was written by Louisa May Alcott and published by Oxford University Press.

Little Women is supposed to be for 9 to 13 year old children but I think it should be for 11 to 14 year old children. I think this because lots of the language used in it is really hard to understand, and even for me it was hard to get into the book as it is so old fashioned, it's good though. It's basically about 4 sisters. Jo is the oldest (17 years old), she is a real tom-boy. Meg is next (16 years old) she it really girly and beautiful and always makes an effort with how she looks. Beth is next (13 years old I think) she is very shy but very sweet all the same, she loves music and plays the piano. lastly there's Amy (11 years old) she is quite small and has long blonde ringlets of hair that go past her shoulders.

Here is the blurb:

Times are hard for the March sisters - their father's away at war and the family is short of money - but these girls don't dwell on such matters and always look on the bright side. Whether it' performing a play or getting on with day-to-day chores, the sisters can find the fun in any situation - but what fate holds in store for the girls, only time will tell.
